Radiology
and Nuclear Medicine, LLC has a long history of being perceived as a progressive
radiology group and has enjoyed a national reputation in the radiology
community. It was the first medical group in the country to incorporate,
and the first to institute the practice of separate billing. We are responsible
for the largest nuclear medicine department in the state and one of the
largest radiation oncology centers in the Midwest.
| In
keeping with its progressive history and in response to changes in
the healthcare environment, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, joined
six other groups across the country, in 1997 to form American Physician
Partners. Now Radiologix is a publicly traded radiology services company. |
 |
This
affiliation affords us access to sophisticated management services including
reimbursement management, contract and managed care negotiation, strategic
planning, and Medicare compliance programming. Radiologix also provides
a source of capital for new equipment, facilities and joint ventures.
Radiologix currently provides support to approximately 300 radiologists
and is one of the largest operators of imaging centers in the U.S.
