Since 1959, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine has delivered
Excellence in Radiology and Radiation Oncology to
Topeka
and other communities throughout
Northeast Kansas
. As the largest
radiology group in
Kansas
, we offer a full range of services from basic x-rays, to the
latest interventional and therapeutic treatments and diagnostic
imaging services. Our
team of Board Certified radiologists provides professional
diagnostic and interventional radiology services at hospitals
and other healthcare facilities located throughout Northeast Kansas
.
Patients in need of radiation therapy for cancer and other
diseases will find Radiology and Nuclear Medicine physicians
prescribing and managing advanced treatments at the Capital
Region Radiation Therapy Center at St. Francis Health Center,
and Stormont Vail’s Cotton-O’Neil Cancer Center.
-History
Since it’s
founding in 1959 by Homer Hiebert, MD and Guy Finney, MD,
Radiology and Nuclear Medicine has been at the forefront of
radiology practice, both in
Kansas
and nationally. Our group has included leaders within the
American
College
of Radiology, the American Society for Radiation Oncology and
other state and national professional organizations.
Over the
years, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine has played a leading role
in the introduction of important technologies to
Northeast Kansas
. These include
radiation therapy, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, MRI, PET, CT
Colonography, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy, and
TomoTherapy.
After more
than a half-century, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine’s Board
Certified physicians are proud to continue our tradition of
bringing you Excellence in Radiology and Radiation Oncology.
